专利说明:
[0001] The present invention generally relates to a vehicle steering wheel, and in particular a steering wheel for a vehicle equipped with a driver surveillance camera, for detecting for example a possible slumber of the latter. With such a system it may be advantageous to provide in the vehicle a source of infrared radiation, arranged to illuminate the driver, to ensure proper lighting of the driver regardless of the brightness in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. It is known in the prior art to integrate such a source of infrared radiation (an infrared light-emitting diode for example) in a steering wheel, such as that disclosed in WO2014077190. In return, this system has the disadvantage of complicating the structure of the steering wheel, impose significant design constraints, and de-standardize. An object of the present invention is to meet the drawbacks of the prior art mentioned above and in particular, first of all, to propose a vehicle steering wheel whose implantation of a source of infra-red radiation does not provoke no complexity on its structure. For this purpose, a first aspect of the invention relates to a driver assistance module arranged to be fixed on a steering wheel 20 of a motor vehicle comprising a first driver information device, characterized in that the assistance module further comprises an infrared radiation source arranged to illuminate the conductor and forming part of a second information device. The flywheel equipped with a module according to the implementation above remains standard in its structure, since the infra-red radiation source is supported by the assistance module which is mainly dedicated to a first information function, and reported on the steering wheel. As a result, only the assistance module is specific when the infrared lighting function of the driver must be implanted in the vehicle. The infrared radiation source may be an infrared light emitting diode, and arranged to emit infrared radiation whose wavelength may be between 0.78 μm and 5 mm. Finally, it should be noted that the assistance module initially designed to be part of a first information device (relating for example to the control of the car radio of the vehicle), becomes multi-function and is part of a second device of information of the driver on his vigilance (which includes the source of infrared radiation and the infrared camera). These information devices are not necessarily completely integrated only on the steering wheel, they can also be arranged on other parts of the vehicle. Advantageously, the first information device comprises: a source of visible radiation; at least a first wall formed of at least one material that can at least partially be traversed by visible radiation emitted by the visible radiation source; at least a second wall formed of at least one material that can at least partially be traversed by infrared radiation emitted by the infrared radiation source. This implementation makes it possible to simplify the integration of the infrared light source and to make this integration 25 more discrete. Advantageously, the first information device comprises: a source of visible radiation; a third wall formed of at least one material that can at least partially be traversed by visible radiation emitted by the source of visible radiation and by radiation; infrared emitted by the infrared radiation source. In this implementation, the portion of the wall that can transmit visible light is also arranged opposite the infrared radiation source, that is to say between the latter and the driver to be illuminated. It is then understood that the external appearance of the assistance module is identical, with or without the source of infrared radiation. For example, the infra-red radiation source can be arranged under a surface that allows night-light backlighting, such as a sign on a button on the steering wheel, car radio control or cruise control. Advantageously, the assistance module comprises at least one electronic card supporting the infrared radiation source and the visible radiation source. The structure of the assistance module is designed to support the source of infrared radiation, which simplifies the design: simply connect an infrared source on the electronic card when the infrared option is expected. [0002] Advantageously, the infrared radiation source and the visible radiation source are part of the same electrical circuit. Indeed, the infrared radiation source and the visible radiation source are both useful when the brightness is low. Simultaneous powering of both sources simplifies wiring in the vehicle since a specific cable to power the infrared source is no longer necessary. Advantageously, the assistance module comprises a wall covering the source of infrared radiation and being formed of at least one material that can at least partially be traversed by infrared radiation emitted by the infrared radiation source. Advantageously, the wall is movable relative to the steering wheel so as to actuate at least one control means of the vehicle. According to this implementation, the wall is typically the outer wall of a control button (linked or part of the first information device) on board the vehicle, for example car radio, cruise control, telephone , or buzzer. [0003] A second aspect of the invention relates to a motor vehicle steering wheel comprising at least one assistance module according to the first aspect of the invention. A third aspect of the invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising at least one steering wheel according to the second aspect of the invention, and / or at least one assistance module according to the first aspect of the invention. Other features and advantages of the present invention will appear more clearly on reading the following detailed description of an embodiment of the invention given by way of non-limiting example and illustrated by the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 represents a general view of a vehicle steering wheel equipped with assistance modules according to the present invention; - Figure 2 shows a sectional view of one of the steering wheel assistance modules 15 of Figure 1. Figure 1 shows a vehicle steering wheel comprising a rim 10 connected to a hub 30 by three branches. On two branches of the steering wheel are arranged driver assistance modules 20, that is to say buttons for adjusting the sound volume of the car radio. These assistance modules send visual information to the driver, either in the form of signs or in the form of light signals. The left assistance module 20 is the button to be operated to increase the sound volume, and the right assistance module 20 is the button to be operated to reduce the sound volume. For this purpose, each button carries an informative sign for the driver, respectively "+" and "-" for each assistance module. In order to indicate the function and positioning of each helper module 20 to the driver, and even at night, it is intended to back-light the buttons, and in particular through the surface of "+" and "-" signs. which is rendered translucent or transparent, and a visible light source is arranged under the translucent or transparent portion of the outer wall of the buttons. Figure 2 shows a section of the left assistance module 5 of the steering wheel shown in Figure 1 along the axis II-II of this figure. The outer wall of the assistance module 20 comprises a translucent portion 23 (which allows the visible light to pass through), and an opaque portion 24, in order to delimit the "+" sign. This outer wall is movable to control the sound volume adjustment, and elastic means 26 are provided to exert a restoring force on the outer wall. The latter is embedded in a box supported by an electronic card 25 which supports a visible radiation source 22, a light emitting diode, for example. By visible radiation is meant a radiation whose wavelength is between 0.39 pm and 0.78 pm, inclusive. When the vehicle is equipped with an infrared camera for detecting a possible falling asleep of the conductor, it is advantageous to provide an infrared radiation source 21 to guarantee the acquisition, by the camera, of images which can be subsequently processed in a satisfactory manner. . The present invention proposes to add to the assistance module 20 this source of infrared radiation 21 (wavelength between 0.78pm and 5mm, including terminals). One can consider using an infrared light emitting diode. The infrared radiation source 21 is mounted on the same electronic card 25 as the visible radiation source 22, and it is also opposite the translucent portion 23, which makes it possible to illuminate the conductor, since this translucent portion 23 is permeable infrared radiation. [0004] Of course, it is generally possible to deport the sources of visible radiation 22 and infrared radiation 21 from the translucent wall, by employing one or more light guides (or infrared radiation guides). This allows to give degrees of freedom to the designer to arrange other bodies in the steering wheel. Consequently, the assistance module 20 has the same external appearance, whether or not it is equipped with the source of infrared radiation 21, and the general structure of the steering wheel is not affected by this option. It will be understood that various modifications and / or improvements obvious to those skilled in the art can be made to the various embodiments of the invention described herein without departing from the scope of the invention defined by the appended claims.
